Grisel's Personal Story

My journey of rebirth, awakening, and building a business that feels like home.

A few years ago, I found myself at a crossroads.

 

My career looked good on paper, but inside, I felt stuck. Disconnected. Like I was living on autopilot.

​

I had a strong work ethic, a good salary, and a solid reputation in my field, but I wasn’t waking up excited for the day.

 

I wasn’t living... I was existing.

 

In 2017, I started a side business that lit a spark in me. My consulting business. It felt like me in every sense of the word.

 

But I didn’t believe I could turn that into a full-time career… not yet. I told myself I’d figure it out someday.​

Then one day, everything changed.

 

​In 2019, I was diagnosed with a rare, life-threatening cancer.


I didn’t know if I was going to live or die.

 

During my nine-month recovery, I got super clear on what was truly important in my life.

 

My priorities sharpened.

 

I realized how much of my life I had put on hold. How often I had chosen work over well-being.

 

I could see it all so clearly, and I knew I couldn’t go back.

​

When I healed, I stepped into my business with both feet.

I released the fear. I stopped waiting for permission.
 

And I started designing a life and career that felt like mine.

Now, I own two successful businesses and sharing all the things I wish I knew earlier.

​

Today, I’m a business coach and consultant who helps purpose-driven professionals add business ownership into their overall career strategy. ​

​

I teach new and early-stage solopreneurs how to:

  • Clarify what they want to be doing now (and adapt when that changes)

  • Create offers that feel good and actually sell

  • Build businesses that support the life they want to live (not the other way around)

I believe this one life we get to live is precious, and it’s never too late to reinvent yourself.


I believe in working with your natural strengths, not forcing yourself into a box.


I believe strategy and soul go hand in hand.


And I believe that freedom isn’t just possible, it’s worth fighting for.

  • Hanging out at a brewery enjoying a sour beer with friends

  • Traveling the world with my husband

  • Looking for Bigfoot 😉

  • Creating herbal relaxation potions with essential oils

  • Being "Aunt Grizzy" to a giant clan of nieces and nephews

  • Chasing joy, one bucket-list item at a time
